Michael believes there's always a market for good workmanship and good design. He puts his emphasis on pieces that are simple, functional and that little bit different, as well as being pleasing to the eye. He uses traditional methods in a modern style.
The work itself ranges from tables to beds to occasional pieces, all made to order from solid wood, from red deal to Irish oak, elm, sycamore and ash. He enjoys putting old pieces of wood to new uses. He also produces a selection of wooden country gates, which are very popular. Michael is happy to discuss ideas for commissions.
